Responsibilities
Prepare financial reports
Perform account reconciliations
Maintain the general ledger
Assist with audit preparations
Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
Problem solve Accounting Issues (opportunities) as needed
Assist with month end closing process to include journal entry preparation, fixed asset accounting and sales tax filing
Preparing documentation for external auditors and tax returns
Performing other accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field required
A minimum of 3 years of successful experience in an accounting role required
Proficiency with technology required; Aptitude for utilizing and employing technology, essential
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
CPA licensure is a plus, but not required
Strong attention to detail
Able to employ a collaborative, business partnership approach to each department
Valid Driver's License required
Must be at least 18 years of age
