world.This position is CONTINGENT upon funding, an open position,
customer approval, completion of a favorable background
investigation, and successful TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
crossover.Nightwing is seeking a Communications/Network Engineer
who will be working as part of a multi-disciplined team, supporting
a global data management project. Tasks include configuring and
installing routers, switches, ASAs, cabling, and other network
devices at CONUS and OCONUS locations. The engineer will
collaborate with team members to develop and deploy distributed
network architectures, create network diagrams and rack elevations,
recommend hardware and software solutions, and implement network
monitoring. The engineer will assist the design and deployment of
new distributed networks and modernization of existing networks.
The engineer will be expected to work alone or with small teams,
interacting directly with installers and end users in a fast-paced
dynamic environment. Flexibility is essential and the engineer must
be willing to work on a wide variety of IT tasks, either leveraging
experience or learning new technologies quickly. The engineer will
develop and occasionally present well-written reports.TS/SCI with

experienceExperience in configuring and deploying Cisco networking
equipmentExperience configuring and installing routers, switches,
ASAs, cabling, and other network devicesExperience deploying
distributed network architectures, create network diagrams and rack

implement network monitoringDesired Knowledge and Skills:Cisco
Certified Network Professional (CCNP)Experience with Cisco Digital
Network Architecture (DNA) or Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
installation, configuration, maintenance, and
administrationExperience working in austere environmentsAbility to
travel up to 50% of the time, globallyAbility to obtain weapons
certificationsRequired Education and Experience:BS in Computer
