  • Locked inpatient treatment unit with 23 licensed beds, average census of 8-20 patients.
  • Focus on acute mental health needs for patients aged 18 and older.

    • BLS certification required for all nursing roles.
    • ACLS certification required for RNs.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12-hour shifts: 0700 - 1930 and 1900 - 0730.
      • Every-other-weekend requirement for shifts.
      • Currently no self-scheduling; block scheduling allowed if unit needs are met.

        • Unit specializes in low violence mental health care with a low restraint rate.
        • Common diagnoses include depression, suicidal ideation, co-occurring addictions, mania, and psychosis.
