  Shift time- Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), Every other weekend. Every other holiday.
  Job Description-
  • Triage and assess patients with acute psychiatric symptoms, substance abuse issues, or behavioral disturbances
  • Implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for psychiatric patients
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor for therapeutic effects and side effects
  • Ensure patient and staff safety through de-escalation techniques and collaboration with security when needed
  • Assist with suicide risk assessments and involuntary hold documentation as needed.
  • Communicate with interdisciplinary teams including psychiatry, case management, and social services
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health resources and care plans. Qualifications & Requirements:
    • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
    • 3yrs exp required
    • Psych and ER experience
    • previous charge experience
    • previous travel experience
    • Scrubs: Navy Blue
