OverviewAs the Specialist, Jr. working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will support the Navy Modernization, Planning and Sustainability Division, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) 09, which is responsible for providing the Fleet and modernization stakeholders with modernization policies; Ship Change Document (SCD) processes and approvals; Navy Data Environment (NDE) and user-training; Fleet Risk Assessments; Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, and Intelligence (C5I) Baselines; Information Technology (IT) business tools; metrics performance; and customized reports. The team will support all areas of NAVSEA Modernization Support the updates and adherence to the Navy Modernization Program Modernization and Operations Manual (NMP-MOM).This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer.Working at Hepburn and Sons LLCWorking at Hepburn means applying a passion for meaningful work with intellectual rigor to help solve the leading issues of today. • Assist with policy effectiveness analysis for program improvement
• Research and compile data in support of program execution
• Gather and process complex data to support decision-making and offer insight
• Coordinate and support meetings for NAVSEA 09 to include drafting agendas, planning invite lists, recording meeting minutes, and tracking action items
• Develop high-level briefings and make associated changes based on customer inputQualifications
• High School diploma
• Active Secret clearance
• 1 or more years of project analyst experience
• Familiarity with MS suite; particularly MS PowerPoint
• Strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with U.S. Surface Navy Organization
• Effectively document meeting minutes and action items
