With a well-established patient base, this role offers a productive schedule and the opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives.*Key Responsibilities:** *Provide High-Quality Patient Care*: Perform a range of dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings, scaling, root planing (SRP), and adjunctive treatments as needed.* *Patient Education*: Educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health, including brushing, flossing, plaque control, nutrition, and preventive care.* *Collaborate with the Dental Team*: Work closely with the dentist and other team members to assess patient needs and ensure they receive the best care possible. Assist with the development of individualized treatment plans.* *Patient Comfort & Communication*: Ensure that patients are comfortable throughout their appointments and address any concerns they may have. Build strong relationships with patients and encourage good oral hygiene habits.* *Maintain Clinical Documentation*: Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all treatments, procedures, and patient interactions.* *Infection Control & Safety*: Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.* *Manage Patient Flow*: Effectively manage a productive schedule of 8-12 patients per day, ensuring high-quality care while maintaining efficiency.*Ideal Candidate Qualifications:** *Education & Licensure*: A degree or certificate in dental hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state dental hygiene license.* *Experience*: Previous experience in dental hygiene is preferred, but newly graduated hygienists are encouraged to apply.* *Communication Skills*: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a service-oriented, compassionate approach to patient care.* *Professionalism & Commitment*: A strong commitment to maintaining a high standard of care, lifelong learning, and staying current with best practices in dental hygiene.* *Team Player*: Ability to work well with other dental professionals in a collaborative, team-based environment.* *Patient Focused*: Dedication to providing patient-centered care and ensuring a positive, comfortable experience for every patient.If you are a dedicated and compassionate *Dental Hygienist* looking to join a family-oriented practice that values excellence in patient care, we would love to talk to you!
